Refund policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, items must:

Be in the same condition you received them.

Be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging.

Include the receipt or proof of purchase.
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
How to Start a Return
To begin the process, please contact us at hello@thehappyfoodshop.com with your order details. If your request is approved, we’ll provide instructions and, where applicable, a return shipping label.

A return postage charge of £4.60 (up to 10kg) applies if the return is due to change of mind or customer preference.

We do not offer free returns for discretionary returns, so please ensure the item you are ordering is correct before completing your purchase.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong product, let us know straight away so we can put things right.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Some categories of products are not eligible for return:

Perishable goods (including food, flowers, and plants).

Custom or personalised items.

Health, hygiene, or personal care items (e.g., cosmetics).

Hazardous, flammable, or pressurised goods.
If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before sending it back.
Exchanges
Need something different? The simplest way is to return the original product (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm whether your refund has been approved. If accepted, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
Please note: depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several working days for the funds to appear in your account.
